I just read something that said that it's very hard to get all the calcium that you need from diet alone.
I went to this site and did the calcium calculator to see how much calcium I was getting from my food:

My calculation came out telling me I need almost 9,000 mg of calcium per week and at best I was consuming just under 6000 mg.
That's taking into consideration that I drink milk twice daily, eat cheese, yogurt and lots of veggies and fruit, not to mention calcium enriched foods like cereals.
