I tried talking him into that - Fiona is already at the kennel for the week and we have to back here Wednesday nite. But he says he doesn’t want to pay for 5 nights in a hotel room. Besides, Katie’s Christmas choral concert is Tuesday and she has a solo.

He has a VA appointment here at 10:00 am on Wednesday, and a lodge visitation here that night. So we’d already planned to spend the night Wednesday nite after his VA appointment, then head for Newcastle Thursday morning for their visitation that night. We were going to leave Newcastle after the meeting, spend the night in Gillette, then come home. So as I see it, the only extra nights we’d be motelling it would be tonight, Monday nite, and Tuesday nite, since the other nights were already planned for. But he’s not having it. And we have to leave the house at 5 am Tuesday to get his labs and appointment handled. Bad time to cross. Stubborn fool. <sigh>
