Vietnam vets are getting "old" now and dying off quickly
I do not know exactly how old he was but guess He was between 70 and 72 years old. Cancer can strike at any age though
 
If he was 18 and went in with the first combat troops, he was born in '47. Makes him 9 years older than me. You saying I'm OLD??? :gig

At this point in my life, I don't think of 71 as old. Know lots of people older than that and still going strong!

You are right, cancer can strike anyone at any age.
