The storm which was supposed to arrive early afternoon just started. Predicted accumulation has been significantly lessened - I'm not complaining.

Guys that storm hit us in Indiana late so of course heading east after us it's late getting there it was going to be less hitting us also as a result other than it's cold now, and going to be bitterly cold tomorrow and Monday. where is this global warming? that's right it's "climate change" meanimg they really don't know what the blankity blank is happening. Sure the cliamate changes. If I remember my earth science, there was a tropical paradise in the area I live in many many years ago, and also an Ice age, to me that means there was climate change(s) some time. sure we might speed or slow it but I am uncertain how much is true and how much is hype. If I offend, I'm sorry, just tell yourself I'm an Idiot and move on please.

Yep, I hear ya.

I thought it was the coolest, being a kid in the hill country of Texas (so far inland) and finding ocean fossils in the rocks.

Coolest thing. Used to be water over half of Texas!

And a reef in Isle La Motte VT used to be where Madagascar is now. A whale fossil was found in Charlotte, Lake Champlain used to be a salt water sea. Of course that was a few million years ago.
