We've been working with the youngest, helping her pronounce words better. I had given a pack of sidewalk chalk to all the grands. A few minutes later, the youngest comes running inside, crying. She was holding out her arm, saying her sister pinked her. Of course, we thought she meant her sister pinched her. Nope. She was picking on her sister, her sister took the pink chalk, and drew a pink mark on the youngest's arm. She pinked her. We wiped it off, and told her to be nice to her sister, or she would pink her again. Off she went.
The same youngest, when she realized the chalk would color her skin, went back outside, and colored her arms, face, and legs. It was ok, if SHE colored herself, but worth crying real tears, if her sister put a little pink on her. KIDS!!!!
