My light sussex chicks are here!

I just picked them up today... four beautiful babies, two days old. And I have two in the incubator, due to hatch this Friday.

Congratulations. I had to open this post when I saw the title. The llight sussex is extremely rare in the US. The only sussex I've seen (and I'm getting some) is the speckled. From what I've read, they are great birds.

Light Sussex RULE!!!!

Any color other than Speckled 'are', in fact, rare in the US!
Unfortunately, we are not allowed to import birds from England, where the Light (and others) are common.

I am expecting a "young trio" of Light Sussex (2 pullets and a baby roo), from Paul Bradshaw, in Fla., in April!
I am soooooooooooooooooo excited!!!!!!
I cannot wait!!!!

I was looking at that site... man, they get expensive! For the six chicks I have altogether, I think I paid about 15 pounds, which right now is around $22.
