My little bantam is dying in my arms and don't know why

Horscrazy reading your thread was so sad and I am sorry you have lost some of your companions

I recently lost a bantam for 'no apparent reason', she was only 3 months old but had seriously peeped her way into my heart. I totally agree with drumstick diva about the moldy bread. I have not experienced it personally but I have never forgotten a chicken-guru friend of mine, years ago telling me about the moldy bread and he was very insistent on the dangers. I fuss more over what my chickens eat than what I do.
