These are three of my smallest bantams. They love to play and are already great at flying. As long as they don't hurt themselves! All my other birds of the flock, orpingtons and Red Stars don't try flying like these will. As you can see I must be ones favorite! Their names are Nugget, Dottie and Goldie.
I'm also guessing I have two easter eggers and one golden laced cochin. Probably be awhile to tell the sexes? Hope you enjoy the short video. I shot this about 7 am right after i gave them food, water and refreshed their bedding. Their brooder is located in my garage next to a window I'll open to give them plenty of fresh air.
A few questions to go along with the video.
1. These are 4 weeks old. Normal size for their age?
2. Do bantams grow slower than other breeds?
3. The one perched beside me throughout the video when in the brooder always is looking for an escape method, lol. common? She goes for minutes trying to fly out through the screen and actually bangs her head on it trying to get free.
