My little madam is getting a bit grumpy!

From my experience, some hens are simply slow learners. I introduced nipple watering to my flock a while back and all but one of the flock worked it out in seconds. One hen even to this day attacks the nipples vigorously - the others simply gently tap at them and get lots more water - after 8 months she still can't seem to get a handle on it,

I think she is grumpy about not getting to eat - Maybe she's afraid it will close on top of her. In the video several were eating at once. If she alone tried it tentatively, it probably would start to close because she won't totally stand on it.
