I have a very little silkie. Her name is Elsa and I am new to the breed. She has a very small comb. She is just about 11 weeks old. Are those streamers or just different kind of feathers due to her possibly being a mix?

I am not convinced this bird is male. Please post current clear close up of the comb. I do not want to give you false hope though.

I finally was able to get some more pics of my little silkie. She doesnt like staying still at all.

I say Pullet! Her hat is round, combs on hens can be big as well.

I agree this little one looks like a pullet. Her comb is a little pink but that is not unusual with certain strains of white silkies.
