Hello everyone, I recently decided to raise chickens and ducks! I started the process about 2 weeks ago with 10 chicks and 2 ducklings! Unfortunately this morning I went out to check on them, and one of the ducklings didn’t make it, so now I have a lonely duckling! I feel bad for the lone duck now! 💔 I currently have a mirror and a stuffed animal in there with the duckling! Do I raise it alone and introduce it to the chicks when they are a little bigger or is it worth getting another duckling! Thanks in advance!

I would get him another friend, ducklings do very bad when housed alone, and chicks aren't a suitable companion for them.

Keep them in the same brooder but make a separation so the youngest isn’t getting picked on but they can see each other it may take a few days but they will get use to each other. I took a piece of hardware cloth wrapped the edges in gorilla tape and use it as my divider
