I know this is my duckie thread, but I wanted y’all to see the rest of my craziness!
Rusty, my main man, doesn’t put up with the new little whipper-snappers. He’s pretty quick to put them in their place and if he doesn’t, my older hens will!
Dooley, fingers crossed and he keeps being a good boy, will be my back-up roo. He looks a lot like his father, Rusty, but with more color. He is actually 3/4 Welsummer, which gives him that pretty color, but he still shows that 1/4 Barred Rock. He is not personable like Rusty (he likes being held and scratched). He stays pretty much away from me. But then again the hens keep him on the move and he’s probably pretty sure I did something with his two hatch mates last weekend.
My broody, Gabriela, and her 7 babies. I am so hoping that I have 5 little pullets. <please, please, please>
