The drape over the tail is also starting to poke through. It is almost like watching a garden grow - new little sprouts every day!

They are a bedraggled lot today! We have been hit by another rainstorm, and though it was very mild the wind came from the wrong direction and rain pretty much soaked them as soon as they poked their little beaks out.
No harm done though. When I went to check on them again an hour ago the wind had calmed and they were making up for lost time foraging everything they missed out on during the day. I just had to laugh a bit at the look of them - I think they were happy it was too dark for the camera.

I was in raking and cleaning up after the latest stormy weather and Prim was absolutely feeling himself today! The girls are still not very impressed.
