Thank you! What do you think about Dandelion? They are very, very similar all the way out to the tips of their tails. They also seem a bit rounder in shape.Daffodil is a female.
Thank you, I really appreciate you taking time to help me out - though I realize it won't really change anything (they are what they are) at least I can prepare myself in case I need to rehome any of the birds.Dandelion appears to be a male to me....need a really good 'close up' of the side profile of the head to be able to tell for sure, without actually being there to see them. Most of the time, the bare patch of skin below the eye is on male birds only. I have seen females that just didn't have any feathers there as well, looked like a male until further close inspection.
With the Ruff pheasants, aka Goldens and Lady Amherst, they can be sexed from day 1, by looking for the bare patch of skin below the eye, also known as 'tear drop' or wattles.
