My lovely yellow goldens.

Pics
All of them go absolutely crazy for these pouches of baby food! 😁 This one is Pea, Pear and Parsnip. (and yes, they only get them as special treats. 😌 )
That chirping Prim is making towards the end is a challenging noise by the way, from what I have understood. I need to keep my eye on him these days and try not to be hands on to provoke him too much. He's being quite the teenager!

As mentioned Prim has been a bit possessive with the ladies lately and that is fine, but today he was very relaxed so I got to spend some time with him and the girls. (The weather is also getting better so I can actually sit out there without freezing my butt off!)
Sharing apples with Buttercup. 🥰

So cute that they eat baby food so enthusiastically - is there a story behind discovering that they like it so?
They are always cute! 😁
Honestly I think it started when I was panicking about them not getting enough protein in their feed and I was trying EVERYTHING to get them to stop feather picking!
I looked at soy protein, at oomph, at quorn, at tunafish, salmon, chicken mince.... just anything I thought they would possibly eat and then came across these handy little puches with pretty much just pure produce in them. There is no extra sodium or addatives or anything like that.
I first tried the rice pudding with apple and pear and went from there. There are several really good ones I sometimes just plop into their regular feed for a yummy mash, or blop on tree branches for them to forage. :)

Today no baby food though, just a fresh pile of rotten leaves! 😌

Who knew rotten leaves could be so fun! Are you seeing any signs of spring, yet?
Rotten leaves, new dirt or a basil plant makes for a good pheasant day! 🥰
Oh yes, slowly but surely! Not enough for the grass to grow, but the spring bulbs are up, some of the trees are budding, birds are singing and the rabbits are making more rabbits.
What about at your end? :)
