I've so enjoyed reading this thread. Your birds are beautiful and I can't wait to hear more about their adventures and how they grow and mature.

I knew nothing about pheasants until now (except as wild birds local to me) but now I feel invested in your goldens

I hope you hatch their babies one day!

Haha, they really do look dreadful! My boy doesn't look quite so bad (not yet anyway), but I've prepared the staff for what might be coming in case any of the guests start asking questions.

They are very much imprinted, for good and for bad. And they are very sweet now that they are back to normal after mating sesaon.

They probably like that banana so much because it reminds them of home. In the tropics. Of temperate, mountainous China.....?
