My mail lady did a drive by drop off!!!!!

So terrible, so terrible, so terrible!!! Completely unconscienceable for someone employed to deliver packages appropriately to your mailbox. If the contents were labelled on the outside of the box, that's even worse.
I would be registering a serious complaint.

Even the eggs whose shells don't show breaks may well have been jolted so hard that the embryos won't be able to develop right.
So, so sad! I am so sorry!!

I hope some chicks can make it.

Right, she literally chucked them out the window and drove away, my driveway goes around so she didn't even see me. And like I said, I RAN out in my socks I was soo excited. Talk about depressing!!!!!! I feel like throwing eggs from my chickens at her truck when she delivers the mail tomorrow. I wouldn't do it, but I am sooo mad it sounds good right now!!!!

OMG, They look like the eggies I got last week. I only had 4 out of 12 not totally squished. I'm so sorry, I know the feeling you got when you thought, "my eggs are here" and then that. So sad.

It is truly not nice. And of course the postal service could really care less it seems. It stinks when you are so anxious and excited and then you see squashed eggs. It hurts. I have been so upset all day. And now I am just praying that the 6 out of 15 that weren't broken may have survived the crash into the pavement!!!

At least you have a reason to be mad.... LOL I got 4 dozen eggs shipped to me, all arrived in good condition.....AND THEN I GO AND BREAK SOME DURING A MAD DASH TO UNWRAP THEM!

I agree that the mail lady chunking them at 20 mph is just plain infuriating, but trust me, it could be a lot worse if you had done it yourself!

I speak of experience....

Thanks Lisa. I am not sure what # the hubby called, but I will also try that one. I am not going to let this go. There was no excuse for not placijng them nicely at my door, instead of throwing them out the window while driving, she didn't even stop her car. Not to mention she was probably doing about 15-20 mileds per hour. What if my 4 yr. old was out riding his bike??? I am so upset right now.

I guess your right on that one. So how are the rest of your doing? I hope the other 6 that weren't broke of mine survive the crash and make it to hatch day. Only time will tell.

If the PO does anything about it at all...say, refunds the money or reimburses you.
Have the next shipment left at the PO for you to safely pick up there.

I would also confront your mail lady when you see her again and tell her what she did and make her feel like absolute dirt!!

"You killed my babies!!!"
If it were me, I would have chased her down, socks and all!!

SAVE THOSE BROKEN EGGS! To show the PO.
