My mail lady did a drive by drop off!!!!!

I give a big thanks to everyone. I received another phone call from the manager of consumer affairs again. I was about to call her, but I didn't have to because an awesome person on here e-mailed her to tell her about the post last night. And thanks to Wayne I have a copy of it word for word, exactly what was written. She wants me to send a copy and is sending an envelope Express Mail, for me to send it back in. She is going to call me when the letter arrives at my P/O so I can go pick it up. Its a start. At least I feel like someone from the USPS is actually listening and doing something about what was done. I posted pics of my driveway, just so everyone could see she was at the mailboxes across the street, that is when I started running for the door, in my socks I ran out and she was already at the other driveway picture. So I told the woman I am working with through the USPS that I posted pics of where this happened so she can see it for herself. If I was running and she was driving and the driveway is longer than the house, then how could she have stopped??? It is not even possible. And to say she got out of the passengers side and placed the package down??? She wouldn't have even had time for that because I would have been at her SUV by then??? Seriously!!! Thanks again, Chrissie

That's awesome Baldie. I'd bet my job it was her that posted last night and I love my job!

Thanks, I am feeling better now. I told the woman that I feel like this girl is going to try and retaliate, and she said that she should be working on trying to rectify the problem, and not make things worse. So that's a plus!

I really hope this lady you have been talking to doesn't drop the ball. Hopefully she will follow through and make things right with you. I'm really glad that I had subscribed to this thread so i had a copy of mail master's lunatic rant. I've been running back and forth to the computer every chance I get so I can see all the new posts. I've been a lot more interested in this than I was the election

Do you know for sure that she is reading this thread--Might be a good idea to make hard copies if you can and send them along with the copy of mush mouth's crazy post huh I meant mail master

Please save the picture of that damage to present to your PO. As you witnessed the toss, now you can prove the damage. Good grief, so sorry to hear that.
If insured they will compensate with the insurance receipt on the shippers end. Or perhaps she can mail it to you.
it's then just forms to fill out on both ends before reimbursement. Been there.........

Great picture!!! I LOVE it!!! I really think this woman means what she says. The whole thing shouldn't have happened, but it did, and now something has to be done. I was truly a train wreck over this. I am better now, but I seriously felt ill for a few days. I have copies of everything, names and so on. I have never done anything like this before, but I used to be an office manager, so I have had to do similar things before. Never for myself, but thankfully I had some experience. And A LOT of help from everyone on here!!!!

It was not insured, but like I told the woman, it was their responsibility to in the very least make sure the package got here safely, and being thrown out a window is not delivering a package safely. She broke them, so insurance or not, it should not matter. Like I told her, now I am up to almost $30 already, between the thrown batch, and the jap eggs I ordered from someone on here(l&s chickens). And Lurky sent me her own eggs and wouldn't even let me pay the shipping (she has a surprise coming though, its on its way). But if I had to pay for those just to replace my thrown eggs, I would probably be close to $40-50. The point is, I should have in the very least received an apology, since I did nothing wrong.
