My mail lady did a drive by drop off!!!!!

my brother went to traffic school and one of the obscure facts he learned there was that there are only two things legal to throw, or allow to escape, from a moving vehicle. One is water, the other, believe it or not, is chicken feathers!

Just had to put in my thoughts-

As for your PO in general. I would see how high up you can go above it. Clearly they are going to protect each other, no matter how wrong they were. Also, get everything in writing! A paper trail is something concrete, not just "so and so told me-". Can you go to any of your neighbors and get them to sign a petition to get her kicked off your route? I'm not even sure that is legally helpful, but names and signatures are good for your cause!

I must be lucky, my mail lady is so nice! The ONE time I had any problem was with a sub, and afterward my carrier came to my door to talk to me about what went wrong.

PS, Your other option is to just let my cat eat her. He totally would.

Thanks, That was funny! I went to bed early last night. I needed a good night sleep. All this stress made me tired. I will keep everyone posted on what happens today. I bought eggs from L&S Chickens for 12$ so hopefully the p/o/ hangs on to them and calls me like I asked. They are Japanese Eggs, not silkie, but I have another girl who lives in Ma that is sending me silkie eggs. Hopefully the p/o keeps them and calls me. My hubby said The mail lady is banned from our d-way and he will call the cops if she drives up it, she can walk our packages up, if we don't have the p/o hold them. But I did tell them to hold the 2 packages coming. I hope they arrive safe. I am patiently waiting for everything to open so we can make some more phone calls! Thanks Everyone!!

This is exactly what my mailman does, except he puts them in a really big garbage bag and ites it up. From the shape of some eggs I have gotten, he probably bounces the box off the mailbox post a few times as well.

I posted feedback and sent an e-mail...hope it actually makes a difference....I included the address of the post office that was on that yahoo link, I hope it's the right one...Please keep us updated, and don't give up on this!!!!

I always ask my buyers if they want their eggs held. If they do, I write on the box:

DO NOT ATTEMPT DELIVERY, PLEASE CALL UPON ARRIVAL ###_###_####.

I think you need to put down a spike strip in your driveway when you are at work........
