My male Pekin duck is really really mean to my other birds. I swear he's been mean since a duckling. He'd run over our at the time baby chick all the time and wasn't much nicer as he got older. Now that he's sexually mature, he keeps trying to mate with my hen. He's been doing this off and on for months and he's really hard to separate from said hen. Her back feathers by her neck are mostly pecked out due to him doing this and my parents just won't do anything about it.

We have a pond that he and another duck share. And a lot of the time the other duck has to chase him out of the pond because he won't share it with anyone else.

My parents won't separate them mostly because they have no idea how. Our yard is like a big square donut. A tree being the hole. It would be hard to divide the yard for them.

What does cull mean?
It means 'remove from the group'.
If you have only one chicken, might be best to get rid of her.
If the male duck gets his penis into the chicken hen it could seriously injure her
(male chickens don't have a penis, so the female are not built for one).

One chicken hen, they grew up together. We had two duck hens but a human purposefully killed them a while ago.

What does cull mean?
He can not be anywhere around the chicken, he will badly hurt or kill her trying to mate. Cull means to get rid of, he needs girl ducks, at least 4.

That's the very least he needs, actually. It might be best to find him a new home with a bunch of girls since that is a lot of ducks.
My parents have better things going on it seems and I can't get rid of him myself. Man, I am so glad this site and y'all exist. Thank you
