So purhaps this is just a willy willy phase. Lets hope so loves. <3

Hmm what else...a perch time. Pretty much where I sit pretzel style while having items of varying heights around.
They seem to like flying to each object and checking the comfort like in Goldilocks. Eventually they are going to try you out for size too haha.

EDIT: Camera is a must!

Your right. I'll try different treats. Mine are white, so how are yours looking? Do they look like little buzzards? I read on different threads that some of them aren't exactly attractive. It doesn't really matter because i'll used them as brooders.

For me I saw a differents when I had a brooder that I could open on the side and sit in front of. After a very short time they were all over me. The brooder that I had where I had to reach in they never got over it. The girls hang back more and the boys are first to come up. Not always.

When I have tiny baby chicks, I hold them as much as I can. I snuggle them up against me and gently stroke their heads until they fall asleep. I do a different one every time. Some will have scaredy personalities, but the gentle handling and holding work very well IME.

My bantam was a tiny runt and always wanted to be UNDER something, so I'd hold her against me and put my hand over her so she'd feel secure and be warm. She's grown up to be the sweetest-natured chicken I ever met! I think I could put her in my pocket and go on a trip with her, and she'd be perfectly content as long as I was there.

That makes sense. My brooder is just a large rubbermaid box. Its good size for them. I wish i could get something bigger but i'd rather invest in a bigger coop.
