my Mom passed away unexpectedly on Friday

Even though we know that our loved ones are safe in God's arms it is still difficult to understand and the sense of loss feels overwhelming. I am so so sorry for your loss. My mother also passed at 68 very unexpectedly. She hadn't even been sick. That was 15 years ago and I still miss her near every day. You don't "get over" losing your mother. You simply learn to live with the sense of loss.

I am sorry for you and your family. Your grief is an example to others of what a wonderful person she must have been.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I lost my best friend last January to what can only be described as medical negligance, and the void in my life now that she is gone is still as deep. In my friend's case they performed major life altering surgery on her while she had pneumonia. After the surgery she battled the pneumonia for a year, and eventually her body just wore out. She was only 29 years old and left behind 4 small children. Losing her was terrible, but I couldn't imagine losing a parent. I am so terribly sorry for your loss, and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
