I hope they move to a property that allows them to better care for their animals. And I’m glad that you will no longer need to deal with the stress of seeing animals in distress on your property. If you plan on renting out any barn space again, I would suggest researching what your legal obligations, and limitations are as a landlord first in your area, and being sure to have some sort of documented agreement with the tenant. Again, not sure of the laws in your area, but it’s always better to stay safe, even when being neighborly.
