So cute! I would turn the heat down or move the lamp farther up or away as they look a little overheated. If they are all huddled and sprawled out that is a sign that they are too hot, and if they are all huddled under the the heat lamp that could be a sign they are too cold. I think a good temperature is around 95 at first but it all depends on their body language. Decrease they heat as they get older. They are so so cute good luck! I don't know how buff Orpingtons could not be adorable. We are planning on getting 4 Americauna chicks next week and I am so excited! We have had some hard losses lately so it will be nice to add some new cuties into our flock. Not sure how to meet the post...It's not a huge deal though people just might think they are for sale. No worries! You will learn in time and be helping others before you know it:)

Thank you very much! I will definitely move up my lamp and try to get to a better temp. I hope your new chicks are very cute and friendly. Thank you for the understanding and help!

I wouldn't worry about deleting it either.

They do look to warm. I agree raise that lamp.

Indoors a 125 watt is sufficient usually.
I raised it up some, and attached it to a chair so I could raise it. I’m just super worried about it catching the container on fire, do you think it would?
