Well I grew some balls and vented them all. And it seems that we only have 1 cockrel and it's the black mottled one! but my husband said that we can't keep a cockrel because our neighbours are horrible and will moan. So my husband is going to try to swap him in the morning for another same age mottled pullet. I'm so gutted we cant keep him but he also has a big pin by his tail. But hopefully I can get the new chick as take as these ones. X

My 5 year old son just cleaned out the chicks box.
He shouted at me saying no mother I will clean it. I love the chicks. So I left him to it and this was the result. He put a twig in and a toilet roll tube in which he painted at school. And he said mum can you get me the saw dust MY chicks love playing in it so I'm putting some in ...

Oh I have put loads more wood shaving down lol. That was my sons first attempt of cleaning it out. So I did adjust it lol. X

Chicks first time out in the sunshine today. And they loved having a rummage Around and they loved sunbathing

So cute ...
I sat down on the grass having a cuppa tea and all 3 jumped straight up into my shoulder lol. Xx
