I just got my first silkie and my first buff silkie so I wanted some opinions. I'm adding foot pictures tomorrow!

I like that he doesn't have any dark feathering in his tail. His comb is a nice color too. He has nice small wattles and looks like pretty blue earlobes. I would like to see a side shot, so that I can look at the placement of his wings, and also will wait for the foot shot.

He has a nice short back and I too like the lack of dark feathers in his tail. Many of us breeding Buff Silkies are plagued by the non uniformity in color. Your boy also shares the trait of having fading color down his chest. If he has nice toe placement and good foot feathering, I would say you have a nice boy to work with.
