Huh. Cool
It looks almost identical to my "mutt" hen. So what happens when you put a Tux back with a Tibetan, do you know?
(sorry, not trying to hijack thread, but thought maybe OP would like the answer too because looks like they may have those kinds of eggs this spring too.)

You can get this:
^^ a VERY dark (almost black looking) bird (the bird on the far left bottom corner of the picture that's really dark) with some white below the throat (ignore the red arrows on the other birds that was for a fellow coturnix breeder I was showing him how his birds he sold me as eggs are doing) LOL
Or you could get this:
^ bird in bottom of the picture, both birds in this picture are Tuxedos, however the one on the bottom has TWO tuxedo/tibe genes which make it darker, it lacks the tannish stripes that normal tuxedos have. It's still a tuxedo but just darker. Theres no standard discription for a darker tibe or tuxedo other than it's darker.
some call them chocolates however that's not the offical name...it's either Tibe or tux or mismark tux.
Since a Tuxedo is nothing more than a Tibetan mixed with an A &M, when you breed a tuxedo back to a Tibetan, you get a darker version....however some breeders have gotten even lighter versions by breeding back to a tibetan.....this breeder i've talked to feels that the gene may be Homozygous. Again even though it can turn out even lighter than normal it will still be a tibetan or a tuxedo.
By the way for confusion sake....Tibetan is also known as British Range.
