$500 isnt all that much to spent on building here. Just for one 2x4 is over $2 , I had plans for an 8x8 , but the hubby says if I'm going to spend the money do it bigger so he doesnt have a add on later.
Thats what he thinks . LOL

WOW 3k. dont think it will be that much. Hope not. I still have to get the wire and 2x2 boards for the runs.

yeah i just got done with a good size coop and it wound me up for US$1800 16x16x9​

Yep, The more I think about it. I like the blue gray and white the best.

Hopeing the the rain stays gone so we can get the roof on and start on the boxes and runs this weekend.

Gota have it now, LOL

Sure hope it doesnt cost me that much

Here's What hubby has gotten done so far. I wanted to paint it a blue gray color, but I went to lowes and they had some outside gray paint for $10 a gal. They called it screw up paint. to good enough price to pass up

I'm going to have 4 boxes in the building that will be 4x4 and an outside run for each . plus I'm fencing in a large part of the field around the building for the chicken to have playtime.


I was going to do the color a blue gray but found a great deal on paint at lowes. So it;s going to be gray and maybe with a red trim. that had a can gal of barn red to $10 as well.

Had lots of help today a few of the hubby's friend came over to help him do the roof. plus my daughters boyfriend and son. hopeing to get the wood on the roof, door and windows on in morning and start painting this week.

Here's what hubby got done of the chucken house today.
He has been working so hard on this for the last two weekends that he can hardly move.
I feel so bad , But every time I ask him what can I do, He say just stay out if the way.

I did do the painting but ran out on the back wall. we still have the trim around the windows and the door to do and thats just on the building, Hubby had some old tin, So we used that on the roof.

Is the work ever going to be done
