I have a baby chick that hatched at 10 this morning in the incubator but I have others that haven't hatched yet. How long can I keep the chick in the incubator? Is it three days until I can move it out. How about food and water? When do I feed and water it. Thanks Kim.

Do notttt open the incubator for tow days before taking him out if noone else hatched... wait for the others to hatch... chicks can stay in good condition for tow days depending only on the yolk absorbed.... you'll kill others if you open it now.... so don't worry he's very good.. keep us potes with pics

You can remove the chick as soon as it's dry. As long as you do it quickly it won't harm the other eggs that haven't hatched yet. Just make sure you do not leave the lid open too long and lose too much humidity. Chicks can go without food and water for up to 3 days, if needed, but offer it food and water as soon as you put it in the brooder.
