My new chickens are broken!

Mine go crazy for grasshoppers, when I let them free range they chase them around. When they are in their pen I will drop the grasshoppers in and they go crazy fighting to get ahold of them.

I had a roo that would follow me like a penny dog I could scoop him up too. When he was
brought to me at a year old, I would go around and help him find earthworms. He'd cluck at his
hen telling her to come and get it! Curiously, she and I never bonded. He and I were buddies.

Try crickets

mine love it. At first they didn't want yogurt but I dipped my finger in it and they ate it off my finger and then just went crazy over it. I also tried earthworms but they just make funny noises at it. They love milworms.
