My new chickens came with NO info - I THINK I've IDd 1/2 - Help please

If the picture of the last hen is a Welsumer as you suspect, she should give you a dark brown egg. Probably the darkest brown egg of any of your hens.
Looks to me like a great adoption, wouldn't mind a few like that myself.

I hope she does!

For anyone near Tucson, AZ, there were still 20 some chickens looking for a new home when I left. The Community Food Bank, 622-0525 x242. They were asking for a $4.00 donation per chicken.

She's definitely not a Welsummer

Hatchery BO, Barred rock, barred rock, Dominique, EE, black sex links for the rest.

Thanks everybody! I really appreciate the help figuring out what my new ladies are. (And I had no idea that hens could have spurs!!) They seem happy with their new home and have already "gifted" me with a lovely brown egg this morning.

Ok, so you're correct on the BO, #2 is not a Dominique since she has a single comb but I don't think she's a Barred Rock either since her legs look white (BRs have yellow like your Dom). Could be a cuckoo marans - would be a dark egg as well. #3 is a Dom, #4 is an EE, and the rest look like black sex-links.

Ooohh! It would be AWSOME if she is a cuckoo marans!!! (And now I know what color 'cockoo' is - thanks!) And I thought I was already excited to see what they lay!

I'm going to look now!!!

If #2 has a single comb, it could be a Cuckoo Maran. Barred Rocks and Dominiques have yellow legs. #2's legs are not yellow they are more like the color of a Cuckoo marans legs.
#3 is a dominique though

I just got back from checking the nesting boxes. (Which seem to have quite a backlog today...lots of new gals wanting to test them out.) No super dark eggs yet, but somebody might be an olive egger! It is the darkest green egg I have ever seen. Much darker than any of my other gals have ever laid. Here is a picture: It is on the top, 2nd from the left.

Does that qualify as an olive egg? Who might have laid it? #4, the Easter Egger...actually an Olive Egger? # 2, the possible cockoo marans? It isn't #1, I got her's earlier, or #5-8, they are still checking out nesting spaces.
