Hello all. Its been a while since I last posted been really busy. I got some new hens they young ones but they are big and I am having a hard time identifying them if anyone can help me out?

Do you have a side pic? I believe she is a black cochin. Straight comb and feathered feet are typical of the breed. However, her body doesn't look as squat and round as the cochin's I've been around.

Edit: I no longer believe she is a cochin.

She is possibly some type of Marans or a black Langshan. Did the breeder tell you anything about her?

Black Langshan fits the body type more than the cochin so maybe you're right.

Looks like a black australorp but that can't be possible because of the feathered legs.

She does, but she doesn't have the copper-ish pigment anywhere.

That's what I was thinking. It has the black australorp build, but the feathered legs are throwing me off.
