Butterball and Mr Nipperz look like Gold Comet or Rhode Island Red chicks (girls) for sure

The others look like they could be EEs...I see some muff cheeks them.

Crooked Lip is cute! A few more weeks and you will know for sure if they are all EEs.....3 out of 5 wouldn't be bad

Look at their legs too....EEs usually have greenish or blackisk/blue leg color......not yellowish. Hope this helps!

No, check craigslist for your area. I'm sure you can find laying hens there for cheap or free.

i tried but its not easy we bought four laying hens at about 3 yrs old, had them for about a month but the refuse to lay! Any ideas?
