My New Chicks!!! PICS!!!

I have to agree a little bit. The sixth photo one does look the most silkyish.
Have the silkie hens been with other roosters AT AL? even for a minute.
Do you know the background of your silkies? like their parents and grandparents? Maybe they have been mixed with another breed a few generations back.

if they were mixed with others, they would NOT, i repeat, would NOT look like they are. and thier pen is is like 400 m away from the others... i know thier great grandparents, all silkies. and the person i bought thier grandparents off only had silkies...

Ok. I believe you

5 adults and now i have 7 chicks.

Pure silkies will have silkie feathering. At least two of your whites appear to not have silkie feathering, and way too many have yellow rather than dark legs; both your adult silkies have slate skin and legs. I'm thinking that if other roosters could not get to your hens, that eggs from other brids got mixed in. Not all silkies have vaulted crests, so that is not a good criteria to judge breed by. Look at the number of toes on the silkie parents, and if they all have 5 toes per foot, then all their chicks should have five toes per foot.

I have seen and hatched literally hundreds of silkie and silkie cross chicks, and most of yours do not look to be silkie. Sorry.

ok sorry you can get upset all you want but those are not silkies there feet are the wrong color there feet are grayish and 5 toed and skin are black on silkies no silkie has yellow or orange feet i own silkies and can tell you that none have the orange or yellow feet one of the parents can be silkie but not both.
