I would have loved to have my coop in the garage. If you are in a cold weather area you are really going to appreciate that coop, it will be so much easier to take care of during winter.

My ultimate coop would actually be a greenhouse. The chickens live in it, offer their warmth in winter and can help with some of the bug details. In the warm months, they go outside during the day.

I really fancy the notion of a human structure doing double "chicken duty."
