My New Coop

Looks great.

Just be careful to protect your birds from predators reaching through. You said you are putting deernetting over it, well that will keep your girls from sticking their heads out, but something like a raccoon will rip the deer netting and can reach in. I assume your wire up to the top too?

Yes she is going to have wire all the way to the top as well. I was thinking that chicken wire would work better to go over the welded wire. We will see what we can do. The heat was so bad today that the guys could only do so much. Hopefully when we go back the heat will not be so bad.

Yeah! What she said! And as for coons ripping stuff, around here we don't have godzilla coons. We just have dogs and hawks. We may have the occasional coons, but not like some "coons" on here.

8853! LOL no, I have 5 in the yard now. i build one and take it apart to build another LOL. No I just don't see a need in spending all my money on fort feathers when I can make my birds safe without spending $400 on wire and wire and more wire!
