My New Coop's Renovation!

I've added my stained window box and trellis to the coop! Come spring, the coop will be getting two large gable vents on both sides of it to add even more ventilation. I will also be adding flower beds in the front and this post box I had made in England. I want to mount it on a granite post and put the post on the corner of the flower beds. I want that my coop look like some anthropomorphic chicken could be living here This could be Henny Penny's house!

No, I bought it from a cast iron company in England and had it shipped over. It really is just for decoration, but we have a daycare at our house, so the kids like that the chickens have a “people house”.

I love it! I’m sure your birds will too. I don’t have much advice, but for my coop we basically cut a few squares into the wall and added screening anda little swinging door to open and close it. It’s simple but it works great! We added two on opposite walls so the air can flow through both ways. Great job with the renovation!
