My new favorite hot weather drink

I have been doing ice water with a slice of cucumber and a sprig of mint right out of the garden. Nice and cool for these humid days. And great for when I am retaining water.

I'm pretty sure Starbucks' Frapp... has about 700 calories in it!

ETA: I checked their website nutrition info and I was wrong! The regular coffee Frapp Grande-size is 240 calories, the Venti-size is 340.

One of the most refreshing and thirst-quenching drinks I ever had was at a mall in Philly. A restaurant there had a huge dispenser of water with orange, lemon and I think, pineapple slices floating in it. I drank 3 glasses in a row. I need to do that with my sun tea jar!

i like water with lemon. i love iced coffee but it makes me ill when i'm prego

if you add a little pectin to the iced coffee it gives it the same consistency as the starbucks frappacino's (sp? doesn't look right on that word). i also like an unsweetend iced tea in the summer.

Iced tea made with 3 Bigelow assorted flavored tea bags (whatever I'm in the mood for) and a gallon of water (it's basically flavored water), no sugar....

yummy and addictive...

I take mint leaves from the garden and chop them in a blender with a ton of cold water. Then I make them into ice cubes that I add to cold water during the day. A touch of mint and cold and I feel spoiled!
