Hey all,
just wanted to post some picks of my first coop. It is a garden coop made from the plans from gardencoop.com. Just finished it two weeks ago and now have the flock inside. I purchased the hardware quick kit from their website as well which helped. I modified the design by switching the hen house to the right side because that is where the local prevailing wind/rain direction is. Also added the house exit to the interior wall to the coop instead of through the floor to preserve usable floor space in the house. Since these pics I have added a landing to the end of the ramp with secondary stairs to the side as it was so steep my chickens were very skittish of climbing it. Now they run up and down it all day long. Not pictured: I have my feeder and waterer hanging from a joist under the house portion and have covered the gravel floor with pine shavings for a deep bedding method

They both look great!

Both coops look very nice.

broadleaf81- Beautiful chickens but I have a question. I don't see any nesting boxes in your pictures. Are you adding them later?

Yes, definately will be adding them. I took the pic looking through the egg door. The boxes will be right where the camera was. The pic was taken the day my chicks were moved out of the brooder and into the coop so it will prob be another 3-4 months before they do any laying.
