We used to have the biggest, ugliest, stinkiest fainter there ever was. We named him Ed and called him Special for short. I absolutely despised him. LOL.

It doesn't bother me much if she doesn't take them because we take all of her milk for us anyways

A true fullblooded fainting (myotonic) goat does not or should not stink !!! This is why I decided on this breed, they (the males) do not urinate on themselves like other breeds do.
Are you sure he was not a cross with some other breed? All of mine have no smell.

He could very well have been a mix. I haven't the faintest (haha) idea about his lineage.

What gorgeous babies!! I just got a new mom and her 2 babies, she isn't the best momma, but she is trying! She has a tendency to wander off and leave them alone for long periods of time. They are gaining weight though, and look alot better than when I got them!!

I thought I would update my post. I put momma on the milk stand today and made her nurse her babies. Once she was off the stand and smelled her milk on their faces, she started to talk to them and lick them. They are all together in their stall bonding quite well. Here's some pics from this morning.
