Thank you, it’s my 3rd time. I can’t take full credit, most of it goes to the NR-360 haha. I’ve been playing with humidity, lock down time of day etc, tweaking a bit, because I’m a bit obsessive, but in the end, if you put good eggs in a calibrated NR-360, you’ll get a good hatch

14 is here!

Great hatch, when I clean out the little brooder tonight and move them to the larger one I’ll post some pics. My tux x tux produced 100% tuxes, and my mystery eggs gave me 2 messy tuxes, I couldn’t be happier! I haven’t taken the heat plate out, so I haven’t gotten a good look at all of them, one might be red tux, which would make me so happy! I’ve just been watching them as they come out to explore. Definitely at least 2 pharaoh tuxes.

Best hatch yet, so far I haven’t seen any splays or curled toes, so I’m crossing my fingers that the 3 from overnight/ today don’t have any issues. I didn’t have to assist any, the only thing I had to do was, 3 who got rolled around didn’t zip wide enough and a pac man egg shell attached in various places like leg, head etc that I had to remove. One seriously got everything out but his head, and it chomped closed, he looked like Monica on friends with the turkey on her head lol. He was laying there flailing his head around. Another had one stuck like a giant boot around his foot. I think if they don’t break out just right, the weight of their body doesn’t push the shell open wide enough. Always a learning experience.
