My new horse!

I’m getting her for trail riding but I and my barn helper both like reining so we might head her toward that too. No showing. She is unpapered.

How exciting for everyone... I am in my final years of horse ownership... But it never stops being exciting...

I am old and she is a young horse but I think we'll be friends. If i didn't have a helper and probable trainer i wouldn't consider it. Heck, it might even be foolish but she's a nice horse that could be sold if i needed to. We already have two retirees, so...

From that angle, I don't see any of the 'primitive' Dun Factor markings (tiger stripes on the legs, dorsal stripe, shoulder bars, cobwebbing), so it's possible that she isn't actually Grulla, but something else, like Sooty Buckskin, but if she is a Grulla, that's Dun Factor, and (as far as I know), she should be eligible for registry with the American Buckskin Registry Association based on her color alone.

She does have all of the markings they just don't show in this photo. They show in person. I hadn't considered she could be registered. It doesn't matter much to me.
