I am in love with your new coop and brilliant idea on the slide out nesting boxes. Easy to clean and inexpensive to replace!

Question: You keep calling their entry door a "pop" door. Why so? Does it pop open if they step in a lever? Obviously, I am a newbie.
I am looking for a good way/automatic/SAFE way to get my chooks in/out of their coop.
They free range now but with the winter coming there willbe more hungry animals at night and I need to have them locked up & released.

hm I'm not sure why it's called a pop door. I thought it was since the chickens pop out of it in the morning.

I don't think my page is detailed enough for the contest. I do have some plans but they aren't all that detailed-we did a lot of as we went along. thanks though!
