My new layer has stopped laying, any advice?

Hail the chicken gods!

She found an egg this morning...in the nest box with the pink golfball. How fitting.

(OK...I told our son he was banned from the coop this morning, too)

My EE hasn't laid for about 2 weeks now, after laying 2 eggs the first day and another the second day and then......................................................nothing since. I'm hoping she sees this post and gives me eggs more regularly...otherwise I do believe there might be chicken noodle soup in my future. In all reality I don't think I'll have the heart to do it though...probably wimp out.

Our hen started laying last sunday she layed on monday and we haven't had an egg from her since any idea when we will get another egg from her? Oh and thank all of you for all your help and ideas on this new venture of mine!

She started laying again yesterday so by this time next week we should have a dozen of fresh eggs and if the other hen starts we will have another half dozen things are looking up!!!!
