Oh he's sooo sweet!!! I've had baby's pop up when mowing before. I guess the rumbling shakes 'em out of their little hole and then they have no idea what to do next.
 
If you plan on releasing the rabbit when it is a bit older I would not let it get use to the cat. It won't end well for the rabbit. Also be aware that rabbits are very sensitive. You can literally scare them to death. Also rabbits are able to care for themselves at a young age. And what most people take as calm behavior is actually the rabbit being scared and freezing. Good luck with the rabbit, they can be difficult animals sometimes.
