The same thing happens with my chickens. People are like how much is that one. I say its not for sale. Then they start offering money, still not for sale. Then the offer more money, still not for sale. I'm thinking what part of not for sale do you not understand.

Wow that second snake you just posted has the most awesome pattern! breath taking!
Yup silly people with their money. I work at a pet store and I was chatting with this guy about snakes and I brought up how I managed to snag a pair of '08 western hogs and he offered me $200 for them! (I paid $50 each). I said heck no, they were my babies! Once I name them, it's unlikely that I'll sell them. Course if he busted out a suitcase filled with a million dollars... Then ok, I would have sold them.

chilling - do you keep an antivenom for some of these snakes ? The one from africa especially, they dont necessarily keep that handy at your local hospital... could be a matter of life or death .... the antivenoms vary a lot , what works for one doesnt necessarily work for another.

Just curious. Pretty snakes!

No Nancy we do not keep anti-venom here. The closest its avaliable is in Miami which is a long way from here. With the extremely deadly snakes I have we are very careful. If we happened to get bit or someone else bit we could lose our permits to keep them and could loose our lives also. I myself do not handle the extremly venomous ones but my SO will handle any snake in the world. He has over 50 years experience and a whole bunch of snake bites to prove it.
