My new pups!

My golden retriever Bonnie had her puppies on July 10.
Her first litter was 5, so I was thinking 8 or 9.
Imagine the shock when out came 13!! We have a set of twins too, that shared a sac, both girls.
All 13, and mom, and dad, are doing well. We are supplementing with a formula, just to make sure everyone gets a full belly. Most of them have their eyes open now, I know these are the last calm days, before they start getting into trouble.
The first pic is the parents: Holly's Bonnie Lass- Bonnie, and Holly's Teddy Bear- Bear.
The second pic is the puppy pile, taken yesterday.
I'll post more pictures as they grow.

I swear I will one day rescue an OLD Golden Retriever. I think the puppies are adorable, but when I see a white faced/gray muzzled old dog it just grips my heart.
