He will probably fight with another rooster, they have to grow up with them to get along, it does depend on the rooster as far as treatment of the hens, if you are unsure than don't add any, otherwise a larger breed chicken might hold up better.

Get a hen or 2 to keep Freddy the rooster company. It really isn't any extra work. You don't have to worry about baby chicks as long as you collect the eggs.
