Hey Sheilawagner..they are like potato chips..lol...I now have 12 Lemon Blue Cochin eggs in the bator...due to hatch Christmas Eve...

Those are absolutely gorgeous girls! I, too, love Cochins, just a little bit more than some of my flock. Shhhhhh, don't tell anybody that!

My two oldest and named bantam Cochins are Lola, a big, fluffy, black puffball (almost wonder if she IS a bantam, at that), and Nugget, a black & gold mottled fellow. His feathered legs make it look
Ike he's wearing chaps, and he should be carrying a little bitty gun belt, holster and revolver. Plus a cowboy hat. My best friend thinks I should have named him "Knuckles" instead of Nugget!

I've also got 3 little black bantam cochin adolescents, 2 Roos and a pullet. I hatched those from shipped eggs. They are really "bantam-y."

Yup, potato chips.
