Went out to feed and give fresh water to the chicks and decided to show off the new coop -

My hubby finished my "new to me" Little Tikes playhouse coop. Got the coop for free and spent about 35.00 in hardware cloth, plywood, 2x3's and hinges. Used Plexiglas for the windows and also used leftover decking wood for the ramps. Cut the chairs open too use as feeders and hubby did an awesome job on the PVC feeding system outside of the coop. the square piece of wood was covering one feeder, but it seems to have been knocked off or moved..Hmmm chicks or kids were the culprits..lol The nesting boxes open from the end so when they start laying it'll be so easy to collect those eggs! The ramp inside and out are temporary - we are hoping that we can combine the two coops with an enclosed ramp so all my hens and even my little Silkie Roo can use both freely, then they will be taken out.. We do have them separate right now since my bigger girls aren't to happy about the little ones yet..lol Hopefully that will change.

Anyway - here are some pics - let me know what y'all think about it

Love your feeders! i need to do that to keep the outside birds away from their feed.

Also I have a 9 week old EE that looks just like your hen. Can' wait to see what color egg she lays.

I got this same playhouse the other day and I am glad to see you made a great coop out of it. I have a question for you. How did you get the sink and the table out of the playhouse?

Thanks

Judy
